    Although "Buying In" is a non-fiction book, the writing is so good I was completely transported into the settings and situations Rob was describing. Buying In is a memorable, fascinating journey in "murketing". Several years after reading the book I still ruminate over it.

    I liked the book overall- the back stories on popular brands, insights into how seemingly "average people" created cultural phenomenons, etc. However, I felt a lack of closure. It sort of fizzled toward the end. Maybe I just lost interest along the way and didn't realize it?
