We all remember clothes pins or baseball cards to make this same noise but this is a safer survives the rain option. Worked great on the 16 and 20 inch bikes my kids have but not well on the 12 inch. Boys loved the sound. Pads are of good quality. Recommend for kids bikes.

My son loves his new engine noise set up on his bike. Basically it's like when kids put cards in the bike spokes. It's easy to strap on with zip ties which are included. My kid is 8 and the elbow and knee pads were a little too small for him. But they were pretty good quality as kids gear goes.
