This stine is a heavy weight stone and offers great counter top protection. Its bigger then i thought it would be and a lovely decorative peice when not in use. It has a cork backing so its safe to put on my new granite counter. Very happy.

It's the nature of the travertine tile I guess. they have gaps, holes in it like a good bread. Some are large and on the edge of the tile. That's why I gave 3 stars. I don't know how well they're going to hold up but I'm going to keep them. They're beautiful and perfect for my purpose.
