When I received it I was eager to finally have a cup of coffee. Plugged it in and added water to run through it like it's suggested to do prior to brewing. The water bubbles and then did nothing so I returned it. Spent more money on a better quality machine.

cant use a coffee k cup as the insert area is oval. crazy

You can't use any cup but the one that come with it.I'd like it if I could use my favorite coffee mug with it.

If you want a good cup of coffee this is not the pot to make it in. This is a case where you get what you pay for. Coffee does not stay warm and does not have the fresh brewed taste . More the taste of water simply poured over some grounds. I have had it less than two weeks and already notice...

The first few times I used the coffe pot it was fine. After that my coffee is now tasting like old burnt plastic. I brew a plain cup of water before my coffee to help with the taste and theres always black specks in the water and its not coffe it looks like plastic.
