I purchased this rice cooker because it was just right for my family size and the added bonus of the steamer just made it a better value. My rice always turns out wonderful. The steamer works great also we steamed asparagus the first night we used it and it turned out wonderful.

its good for noxed rice and noodles,ive made soups and even boiled eggs. its perfect in size when its just me and leftovers for the next day. you can steam veggies in it also

It's not super sturdy, but it's perfect for me and my husband. Would only recommend though if you are feeding two people! 3 would be a stretch, but if you're only feeding two max then go for it. It's super easy you just put the rice and water in there then wait!
