I'm not a chef but these knives seem to work very well. They cut much better than my previous knives. I have not owned them long so cannot attest for how long they stay sharp but at first couple of uses they cut nicely.

We bought these a couple of months ago, and I am pleased overall with them. They are ergonomically designed to fit nicely in the hand and look quite sleek. I wish they were a bit sharper, but they get the job done. You can't beat the price/quality ratio.
