It can't read 4k bluray disks. It refuses to downgrade firmware. I'm returning it. A bluray reader that reads one third of my blurays is pretty worthless.

Drive starts makes awful grinding noises as it retries in a futile attempt to complete a dual layer burn. It always goes berserk in the second layer. Slow.

Support and drivers for this model are not available, and LG Support site was aggressively circuitous and unhelpful. While this model will play SOME Blu-Ray discs and most DVDs, it won't others. when I opened the shipping box from JET the seal on box that the blueray player was in had been cut and there was no programing software in the box just the player. Now what good is a blueray player that wont play bluerays? I ant my software you bunch of thieves!!!!
