I liked how easy it was to buy the part online it worked for our garage we actually needed the 28 inch springs but sold out everywhere. Thank God I thought of looking for another size 30 inches vs 28 inches. Everyone that we called wanted to charge around a from 600 to 1,000 just to change the sp...

Easy to replace; attach bottom first and adjust so you only need to extend spring an inch or two. I used a 4X4 post and a pry bar to stretch the spring and hook it to the top mounting bracket. My door is an old 16' steel door with one of these springs on each side.

It worked, the only thing was that one of the hooks needs to face in the other direction, so not a big deal just rotate it 90 degrees and works perfect
