Yes, as someone wrote they have smell of the manufacture, but it will go a way after the wash. To me more important is the comfort when I'm wearing I could using for few hours no problem. Happy .

I have had 2 knee surgerys in the past and needed something to stabilize my knee while walking due to some minor pain I was having. This brace did the job.
