I bought these to help my 91 year old mother with her rehab. They were like the ones the therapist used with her and enabled her to do a little more "lifting" when the therapist wasn't available.

These are a good idea, my Dr wants me to work on my arm strength and by getting just the sizes I need was much easier.

They arrived before expected, and I was pleased at the nice thick coating of vinyl, so they are very smooth. I love the hot pink color of the 2 pound weight. It lifts the spirits and makes you want to use them. Postage is sooo reasonable for something this heavy - thanks, Walmart.

The vinyl coating sticks to my hardwood floor; I have to pull it straight up off the floor. No damage to the floor or dumbbell that I can see, and the coating doesn't feel sticky. But it is strange how it suctions. I will buy more though.

I thought one pound weights would be a waste. But for the price they are really good. Perfect for early on in therapy when doing long sessions with multiple sets.
