I shopped online for a spinning rod and made comparisons. I knew Fenwich was an old brand and specialized in rods. I choose the HMG at 6' 6" medium to go along with my new Pflueger Supreme XT reel. I am very pleased with my choices. The rod is beautiful and of high quality.

I own 8 of these rods and am overly impressed with the quality. For the price, you cannot beat this rod. I use it for rigging walleyes, casting jigs, or trolling crankbaits. Great rod...won't go fishing without one!

I've used these rods for the past 5 years and love the action and sensitivity they provide. I use the Medium Fast action to pull 2 ounce bottom bouncers and they work great. Rods are easy to read and bites are easily detected.

Been fishing for bass for 30 yrs. Always bought other graphite rods, from Walmart in the 39 to 49 dollar range. Then I bought a Fenwick HMG. OH MY GOD! what a difference in the overall performance. It wont be long, as all my rods will be of Fenwick quality!
