I.d not like the material one bit. It's rough and reminds me of twine. I kept it only because it's for our entry way and will be replaced in a few yrs due to kids, dogs and high traffic- returning it won't be worth the effort.

The color desciption was the same as my Dallas shag rug . grey and ivory. Not a accurate description.

Most runners are too narrow or short. This one is just a little narrower than my hall and plenty long. The only thing is, you will need a no slip pad under the rug if you have a hard floor.

Beautiful rug. Looks great in our living room. It's a thinner material than I expected, so the dog likes to pull up on the corners:| but besides that, it's perfect.
