I had previously bought a similar item, but returned it due to the bright screen. I have the same issue with this one as well, but I didn't return it. Just simply put a piece of paper in front of it and all is well. It's a little bit of a hassle, but worth the money.

Good Clock and at $50... it does just what you need. It is a touch bright at its dimmest setting if you are sensitive, but that is easily resolved by turning the clock. Definitely capable of waking the deep sleeper. Looks good... go ahead and pay less for a cheaper one, you'll be buying this late...

It has great sound quality and is a very nice product. The only drawback is the bright display, even with the dimmer. If you are someone that requires it to be completely dark when you go to sleep then I would not get it if I were you, but if not then go ahead and get it.

THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. THE ALARM IS LOUD.. IT HAS TWO ARLARM SETTINGS IF YOUR THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT LIKES TO HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON. I CAN DOCK MY IPOD GEN 2 AND MY IPHONE. GREAT PRODUCT GREAT PRICE!!!
