Bought these in gold, silver and red in onion shapes on clearance Spring 2015. Knew I could remove battery pack lights and replace with electric strings of 20 clear. I hot glued the ornament hangers back on to the tops and voila, no changing batteries on the dozen and a half ornaments on our tree...

I had no idea this ornament was so big! But, when lit, it is beautiful! It won't go on the tree, so I will just have to find another place for it.
