I read the reviews alot, and still got the unit. well it cools the room down it's not magic it takes a minute to do so. also it is loud, to loud for the bedroom even for someone who likes a little noise at bed. but not to loud maybe somewhere else.

I bought one for each of the bedrooms (each room is 12x12) and they do their job well. I have no idea what half of the functions do but the remote is nice to have at night. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the remote glow in the dark so it can be adjusted in the middle of the night.

Normally I buy the 5k GE air conditioners because it's a brand name I trust. They've always done a good job. But this time they were out and only had Artic King. Picked this up today for $59.00 at my local Walmart. Easy to install and cooled down three rooms in no time at all. Works great! Awesome price!
