I bought this combo last summer mainly for catching big blues and flats at Santee. Landed several 30-40 pounders over the span of 3 days. I'll be buying a few more and thats a promise

Got this for Christmas and finally got a weekend of fishing in despite the weather. Landed a nice one and was amazed at the drag and control I had against this big cat! Using 65 lb braided and Santee rig. Handled with no worries. May have to add a few more to my arsenal.

I used this pole combo over the weekend for some cats. Casting was a breeze and the distance and strength this pole gives you is awesome. I totally recommend this rod for anyone who is into catfishing or big game fishing.
