I purchased a new deep dropping rod and reel which I filled with 60# SpiderWire. It works perfectly and the small diameter allows me to drop with a minimum of blow back caused by the resistance of the water.

I live next to Lake Superior and using the blue camo in the deep blue water really gives me an advantage. The Spiderwire Blue Camo is a lot smoother than any other braid I've used and seemed to last longer too. I love this line and can't wait to get it on all of my rods.

I have only used this line once but noticed that I got more bites on it versus the other line I was using. It is smooth and strong and performed well.

biggest downside to braid is that it is not as abrasion resistant as mono or floro, but with the coating of this line you get the best of both worlds. Plus the color looks great on the reel and is very hard to spot in blue water.
