Very good bait. Great for bluegill. Always consistent at our lake here in Huntington Beach. Easy to cut and shape to your individual preferences on the hook. Highly recommend.

I use these to catch everything! Gasper-goo, big bluegill, catfish, bass etc.

Assemble it with any jig head and it works like a charm! So far it has been my favorite! If you are targeting big ones you may find it attracting too many small fishes, but definitely great for starters.

Have been fishing with the Berkley Gulp Alive 1" smelt and 1" chartruese since they first came out, Catch Crappie is what they do... I used to spend $$ every time we went fishing on live minnows, now I can catch 10-12 crappie form each Berkley Gulp alive before it is too tore up from too many hit...

I tried these out for the first time, tipped Crappie jigs with the 2.5" pink shine. Suspended them under a fixed float near cover and came up with some slabs. These also seem to work well for finesse situations, when the bite is lite. I also like how I can recharge/re-use them.
