It works perfect. If you buy this though, put cloths under the straps where it touches your car. I didn't do this the first few times I used it, and now I see that the straps have damaged the paint on my car.

cam straps loosen while driving and yellow rope shredded as soon as I tried to tie kayak down. the only useful items are the foam blocks and the mesh bag.
