Not a gimmicky toy. I bought 4, because there that cool. The only thing is batteries might be dead. Takes 3 AAA batteries, very easy to change. Every option works perfect. 6 real working buttons on remote.

its a great concept but screen artived broken. when pressing the reset button the screen turned on as normal but as soon as you stopped pressing it it went back to flashing.
