I bought a 425 stove at the factory store two or three years ago but have only used it twice. Why? Because this ORIGINAL 425 from the late 40s early 50s STILL works perfectly. When (if?) it wears out, I'll start using the modern 425. Talk about longevity and reliability!

Great stove for emergency backup, camping, outdoor gatherings and mostly for having fun and making memories. My Grandfather had one when I was young and I can remember the smell of breakfast cooking in the great outdoors 50 years later. Still a bargain, still American made.
