Feel the lightest of strikes, easy to set the hook and a lot of control in managing the fish on the end. Will most likely get another lighter weight to round out the fishin...

I have the villian 2.0 in med hvy. This rod is really light and sensitive. It is a good all around rod for worm fishing, crankbaits, spinnerbaits ect. I have gLoomis NRX and the villian is right there with gLoomis in quality and performance but much lower in price. If you want to spend more money...

This is the 2nd 7' 3" Med. Hvy I have purchased. It is an excellent flipping and pitching rod. Very sensitive with enough back bone to haul them out of the thick stuff.

So far I love the rod. I wish I would have got the size down from it but I can always buy another. The 7' 6-12 is a very stiff fast action rod so I'll still be able to throw a few heavier baits on it if needed. My next one will possibly be the 6'10" which I think is a 4-10. Can't wait.

Bought this 2.0 40T and I was pleasantly suprised about its light weight. I matched it up with a Evo reel. Very nice combo. First time I fished it; caught a 10lb Large mouth. Brought it in easily after a good run around the boat. I haven't flipped with it yet, but I think it will be just fine.
