This was the first game my son ever received and he really enjoyed it. It is simple to play (there are different ways to play in increasing difficulty). There are some small discs that can get lost easily (we lost one on the first day) so be careful. The caterpillar dice roller is adorable.

i liked the fact it showed up before Christmas and the price was reasonable..

it took a few times of explaining the game until my 3yo kinda caught on, but he's not a big game kid but I enjoyed the game so it's a win.
