This is a spinoff of the "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." It is another great book. My kindergartners loved hearing this book as a read aloud. They thought that the cat was silly and liked that it was going in a circle. Definitely a great read aloud for children in lower elementary (K-2).

Just as in the other books in this little series (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, etc.), this one is about an animal doing things that a person would do. A great read aloud for K-2. Kids will relate especially if they're familiar with the other books in this series.

If your child loves to read like mine does, you have probably read some or all of the other books in this series. This book is great, as are the others. I love reading to my daughter, and I enjoy seeing her smile as we read these books.
