I have tried a few welding beanies over the years, and this is the best fitting and most comfortable because it does not have the thick seams or bothersome elastic bunching. Those just cause pain when the pressure of the helmet support is tight enough to sta where you want it.

Probably runs a little on the small side. Don't usually wear a XL hat but this fits nice and snug. It does have some elastic so could be used by someone with a bigger head. Beats burning your head while welding!
