bought it for my neighbor and she absolutely loves it. Really wonderful sounding, she had a Panasonic very similar to this one but it finally gave out as it was extremely old. she listens to it everyday.

Replacement for an always-on AM news station radio. Found that newer radio's with a simple wire antenna did not give AM reception. This has an internal ferrite antenna which works great.
