The feel of this rod is incredible and it’s one of the lightest 8wts I have seen. I got size 9 line since the rod is so fast and it really helps it to load and shoot with very little effort. Caught a tank smallie on it no problem.

I bought this Aetos 5wt. two weeks ago. I’ve only had the opportunity to use it twice. The rod looks nice and casts very smoothly. It compares very well with rods costing twice the price. So far, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I would recommend this fly rod to my friends.

I have (and still use) an older FF 765 that I bought in 1973. I have now added a 4 piece AETOS 8 weight for bass (mostly smallies) and absolutely love the rod. Took a bit to find the rhythm as it has a lot of backbone. Would put it up against anyone's rod costing two to three times more.
