There was no set up other than attaching the optional keyboard ledge and plugging it in. The up and down movement of the riser is smooth. I can fit my both 27" monitors, my tablet and my mini pc.

The desk is excellent.

Unit is very well built and motor runs smooth. I little jarring when quickly lowered but could be due to weight of monitors and monitor stand.
