Got all 5 of this series for 5 year old grandson for Christmas and he loved them. They seem to be well made and stay together most of the time when he connects all 5 into one big nerf shooter. I would say these toys are perfect for the 5 to 6 age group.

Purchased for my 6 year old and he loves it, you have to really have the others that connect to get full experience.

This toy is fun when assembled but very tough and tricky for smaller kids to use. You have to take it apart everytime you shoot the arrows out to reload it. It’s just okay. Not very effective for ongoing play

This toy is fun, but it requires a little patience - maybe too much patience for my five-year-old son. My eleven-year-old daughter loves it, though. The construction isn't bad. It's kept up with my two older kids and hasn't broken yet, which is saying something.
