The lids are great and eliminates the need for the metal band, however rubber tie downs are required to keep coons and squirrels out. The winch system on the 30 gal feeder needs to be upgraded to 1000 lbs. of the 24 We purchased 2 winches (latched and spring) have failed.

Squirrels like to eat holes in it to get to the corn in the feeder barrel, but otherwise, it works great. Just leave the original steel lid in place before snapping on the Quick Lid.

This product is thicker plastic than the rain cap that squirrels and raccoons chewed through on a 30-gallon metal drum feeder. Although it would not fit over the fastener with clamp, it did fit over the drum lid perfectly and seems to have a good fit.
