If you have a garden, then you need this item. You connect it to your hose and it has a lever that you turn a quarter turn, and it shuts the water off. Then you don’t have to shut it off at the valve. It is made in China for Walmart. Very heavy duty and very well made.

This is a well made EG MTL SHUTOFF valve. A neighbor of ours is very proactive with everything. He's a firefighter full time so when he gives advice, I tend to listen. It was a suggestion of his to have this part in the house and easily assessable. I'm happy it meets his approval.
