Works perfectly in my safe. As an alternative to screws, command strips on wood surfaces or some adhesive velcro hook-side tape will hold them on the fabric inside the safe.

They work great, and couldn't be easier to install. I put 2 on the shelf tracks and 2 on the inside of the door at the hinge side. The magnets hold the lights without issue.

I have one magnetically attached on the top shelf and the other on the side, mid-level of a 24 gun safe. I initially wanted the bigger, more powerful light but these are extremely bright and more than capable. The motion sensor works fine. I'm really glad I got these lights.
