After I straightened out the bends,( from shipping) It worked fine. The two sided tape does not stick to the stock tail gate cover, painter balck pop rivets worked great.

The protector is great,but needs to be packaged better .Mine was dented on both ends from no packing material in the carton. I was able to get it straight by using a C clamp and two strips of wood,but this should not have been necessary had it been properly packed!
