Valvoline is on the Ford diesel oil specifications list to be used in there Powerstroke engines. I have used Valvoline in gas engines and diesel engines for many years. Upon inspection of cylinder walls and bearings have shown normal wear and no varnish or sludge build up.

Never go back to any other brand. Tested materials and oil/liquids fo 45 years and Valvoline always won. I use it(racing oils) in my race cars as well. Diesel duty works best in my truck engines.

This stuff is great. For the price, you won't get a better additive package in a CK-4 oil, at least out of the ones I've seen VOA reports on. This one outperforms all the others, even the pricier synthetic options. Enjoy!

Valvoline produces a quality diesel motor oil. My 1995 F-350 diesel still runs well after 398,000 miles without any major part failures. To Walmarts credit most of the oil was purchased from them.
