These blades are not very sharp. I had a hard time cutting thick string. I also tried the serrated blades, they were even worse the fibers clogged up the teeth on the blade--the serrations are like mini saw teeth. The concept of a cartridge is a great idea, but I will not buy any more dull Claus...
