When I saw the picture I thought this is exactly what I need, after opening it in the store it was not. I brought it home and my husband had to spray paint it white, it is more like an off white. So I was not to happy until he painted it and now it looks great.

Definitely not white. The color is more light yellow.

This rod was supposed to arrive on the 29th of Feb. and did not come in until late on March 2nd. Then when opened it had a big chip out of the decorative piece but because we were having an event it is up and will not be returned.

This rod is very pretty and strong enough to hold up heavy drapes.
