it kept soup nice and hot for my father in the nursing home, the only thing is the lid was not the easiest for my elderly mother with vision problems. but works just fine me.

This thermos reminds me of the ones I use to get years ago. Great size and hold the heat over 7 hours. Love this for taking food to work; have not used it for liquid but I am sure it will work wonderfully
