It's made in Germany, what's not to like? Ok it's 3 times the price than an ordinary Universal Jaw locking Pliers but it is worth every penny because of the functionality and quality, therefore it's the last one you ever will buy.

Nothing fancy, but it is designed well and very functional. The jaws are designed to give good grip on round objects and flat sided objects like nuts. Others have jaw designs that do well on one or the other but usually not both. Knipex seems to have thought out the design well.
