Interesting book that is more memoir than how-to. Strauss interacts and ultimately befriends some of the most interesting survivalists out there. A lot of the information was new to me, and may someday help me. But I'm not quite ready to dig a bolt-hole in my back yard.

Good book if you like the subject. Strauss was able to keep my attention throughout and brought it all to a significant conclusion. Well done.

This book won't save your life, but it is certainly an interesting and entertaining narrative with some good survival tips! Emergency definitely resembles Neil Strauss's hit The Game in style of writing and expression.
