This heater has some nice big coils and a very nice fan. The problem is that the coils don't heat up as you would expect them to with an electric heater. I was expecting them to glow red like most electric heaters do, but no they don't even come close to putting out that much heat

I purchased 2 of these in an attempt to create some warmth inside a 20' x 10' shed-workshop during winter months on Long Island. Both fans on high for three hours, digital thermometer indicated not one single degree increase in temperature!

Doesn’t heat even the smallest of spaces. Have several other smaller cheaper heaters that work much better. Don’t waste your time or $ with this heater.

High quality, powerful little heater. We are very happy with it. We use it to heat a small exercise space, but I'm confident it could heat a larger workspace well, too.

If you're looking at 120 volt 15 amp heaters, don't expect 40000 BTU as the output, it's not going to happen. These little electric heaters are nice on/near a work place in a garage (which is where I use mine), or in the house if you are sitting in one place. This Mr. Heater unit seems well mad...
