First the train is slow because of the age range it's targeting too. My 18m grandson loves trains, he watched it go around a few times then quickly took it apart. I was completely comfortable with that no small pieces, lightweight plastic so not heavy. I think the colors could have been brighter....

Purchased for our turning "3"-year old Granddaughter for her December Birthday. Put it up around our Christmas tree. She has a fascination with trains and this is a great first set for small children with no sharp edges and a concealed battery compartment. Car hook up is easy too for small hands.
