I searched for the best set of mixing bowls I could find that could also handle hot temperatures and were reasonably priced. I did expect them to be heavier (thicker), but they were a good value for the money, anyway. My daughter has just begun to use them.

These bowls are cool. Not too thin nor thick. They are heavy and durable. You can use these for serving, mixing, as a fruit bowl, or even for cereal. :D
