Bought this for my son for his 10th birthday. Very durable and a great gift. Holds up to boy abuse. The fish at the pond weren't biting so he ended catching frogs. Great rod for everything.

Got as a gift. Perfect rod for fast short accurate casts. The 6 lbs limit seems to be spot on since a 6.76 lbs bass nearly broke the reel. The tiny "tackle box" and lures are decent but not a long term option, just a nice bonus. Great for smaller fish, and pond fishing.
