this is a very nice combo for a beginner or someone who just loves to fish i caught over have my fish with this combo last year and never did i have a problem with it all i did was swap the line to 8 lb test and it worked awesome.

I have a 4.5" Ugly Stick I abuse almost daily. It has never let me down, especially when I'm deep in a hot spot. You can be sure I'll expect to bump into a few browns next time I'm in a back hole!
