1 ) Although brand new , it came in a used unbranded ,taped carton box. 2 ) obviously did not weigh 50 pounds it weighed 25 pounds in total. half of the weight bars were missing.

The vest is supposed to come with 4 3lb weights and 26 1.5lb weights (as listed on the box). Mine only came with 22/26 1.5lb weights, so it only weighs 44lbs total (not 50lbs as advertised)

Honestly the weights are not all even in weight the stitching from the velcro is start to pull off. The vest it's self is nice. But I'm going to have to re sow the stitching. I don't feel the straps are going to hold up for the long haul. Needs better QC on the straps.
