I was hesitant at first, after reading the issues with the self propelled. You do have to disengage when making a turn, or it will hop and dig up the grass. This is a terrific mower. It is well built, handles, and cuts great. I like the variable speed drive to easily adjust to different cutting applications, and the “one lever” height adjustment for all 4 wheels. Great design. Battery life, and power is exceptional as well. I'm very pleased.
