I had to punch a hole out for drainage. Nice pot for my pothos plant that ordered I through Wal-Mart. Shipping was a bit slow but it worked out fine. Allowed for my pothos to acclimate to a new environment before repotting.

We bought this 16 inch self watering planter for a pine tree transfer. It arrived, safely and we punched holes in the bottom of the container. The tree has plenty of room for growth and the water drains beautifully. The price is fair and the quality is good. We recommend this planter.
