Very excited when I bought this as it worked great!! BUT - while I didn't see any suggestions on this site or others about not putting it in the dishwasher, that was the death of it. It separated apart from the green plastic and the clear upon the first washing. Really bummed it didn't last ...

I like that this collapses for easy storage. However, I was trying to replace an older one that had a pull cord handle. This you need to spin the top so not exactly what I wanted but it does the job.

I owned the older version of this spinner for approx 20 years. It was great and just broke. The 4 quart is perfect for salads. The 3 quart is too small but is good for washing berries which you can obviously do in the 4 quart as well. Collapses easily and I wash in the dishwasher on top rack.
