We got these faucets from the house we purchased as new construction and the faucets are flimsy and cheaply made. They allow any type of surface water that touches the countertop to seep underneath. I bought this item 4 yrs ago (July 2015), and the left handle squeaked after 6 mos. Recently (Feb 2020) a plumber put some "plumber's grease" inside the handle and the noise stopped. I was so happy. But 4 weeks later, the squeak returned and now both handles squeak.
