Had other flower boxes under the window that rusted and didn't retain moisture for our flowers. This box has solved that problem. We added two trellises to our second box and will have ivy climbing on them, giving some color and height to our blank front entrance.

I installed three of these under kitchen windows and am using them for herbs. My cat was getting into the ground level planters and I did not like that (but love my cat). Since I use these herbs in cooking I wanted no cat contamination! Also this side of the house desperately needed some charm....
